Executables

All of them are DOS programs. Most will also run into a DOS box on windows 9x, but it's preferable to launch them in a clean pure-DOS section for speed reason.
Note that you'll need either a SBpro or a SB AWE64 in order to get a good sound. This is due to the fact Pype always uses it's own 8-voices ModPlayer.

Cascada A 64Ko intro released @inscene99. Very OldSkooled textwriter based intro (like on C=64). Written in C+ASM. This is considerated as the first step on PPP into the Demoscene and mainly introduces us. 32Ko
CraZy BriX A funny 100K game (the best-ever BreakOut-like) unchanged since the Inscene'99 release. Also available through the "GameMaking" section. Written in pure ASM. This is the first coding-success of PPP Team on the DemoScene 79Ko
Free Style A megademo made in collaboration with Pinky and Wis from udev for inscene's WILD competition. It's a mixing of many basic/asm effects from Pype(c0da$m), Pinky and WiS with a slideshow of pictures taken at the Inscene. We released it in the WILD competition because CJ's tune was too big and too difficult to be inserted into the demo and had to be played with ANOTHER computer. Even it's possible to run the demo from a player or under windowZ, we choose to do so to have the maximum speed for BASIC code that doesn't really works fine under DPMI.
If you still hesitate to download it, give a look to the online galery.
This has been done in a rush, merging and recompiling all those files, changing texts, synchronizing and remixing music in only a few hours before a deadline. REALLY exciting to do !
3.5 Mo
Out'm'Up A great action-game, shoot-m-up class with monsters and bonuses. Still 100% pure assembler (yep, even if you think i'm craZy!). This has been done in a hurry in a few dayZ before the party, and i'm not already done with it (hope i'll be able to add some background and bosses for a second release at 2Thousand).
works fine under DOS, WIN98 and ... Linux DoSEMU (nosound)

Musics

Most of those tunes are IT files, so use IT2.14 to get a better result. Please note that most of those tunes can be found on CJ's homepage

GraFiX

I've tried to convert most gfx to JPEG format. Unfortunaltely, i'm not sure i'll be able to find back Gino's contributions.

"Bonhomme" by Cyborg Jeff This is a Photoshop-made picture of a character from Midam in the comic "Kid Paddle"
"Smoke" by Pype This is a DeluxPaint-made picture. The character is an original (old) idea of Pype, showing dangers of smoking suspicious herb. (the original text "Don't Cut the Herb, Smoke It" hasn't been kept because it could have been misunderstood).
"Koopas" by Pype This is Pype's version of Koopa Troopers, raytraced with PovRay and modeled with Moray (no nurbs!)
